Who we are
Our Identity is found in Jesus Christ and nothing else so we wont pretend otherwise! Second Baptist is a family of individuals who have placed our hope in Jesus and we want everyone to know the freedom that comes with putting your hope in Christ.
Where we come from
Second Baptist Church was officially organized on May 13, 1880 with ten charter members. Second Baptist Church has been an adventure in Faith since its beginning. The members and work of Second Baptist have always been to minister God's Word and His Unconditional Love.
Where we're headed
At Second Baptist we desire to care for our community by showing them the love of Christ through our actions, words, and prayers. Ultimately we are here to fulfill the great commission in service to our Lord as commanded in Matthew 28:16-20. We are a family united in the Grace and Love of Christ, and the Hope of the Gospel. As our family continues to grow, we desire that no one be a stranger to Second Baptist.
